We’re looking for 1 to 2 Process Upgrade “Agent(s)” for European Insurance Company, based in France and Italy, to contribute to a global transformation initiative.
This is a short-term interim assignment, open to Freelance candidates, with short-notice (the best offerers will be selected very quickly).
Project Scope / Role
Client is large multinational insurance Company.
The role will be focused on operational baselining with a heavy emphasis on current state process mapping, time-based labor studies, and pain points identification.
The role will involve executive interviews on topics such as market opportunities and perception of current capabilities, managerial interviews on process pain points identification, organizational models, and operational resource workshops focusing on process mapping and baselining of current state.
A small portion of the role may also involve profitability assessments of Client’s book of business based on internal cost calculations and historic premium levels.
The role will need to blend an attention to detail in cost structuring and process mapping with an ability to lead workshops with small groups (4-6) of front-line employees.
Some of the work is strategic and customer-focused, but a good part of it would be process driven.
TECHNICAL PROFILE //
Strong process background, Green Belt / Black Belt like capabilities.
o Insurance Industry experience is a positive, particularly underwriting experience (though not a requirement)
o Financial services experience more relevant than other industries
Capability / Expertise
o Process-oriented / operationally-minded background is necessary
o Must be skilled in Microsoft Visio and Excel
o Background in process design – setting up Shared Service centers, re-engineering service-oriented processes, etc. – would be ideal
o Additional background in market research would be a plus
o Experience in leading workshops – particularly process design workshops – would be a huge positive
o Good with people

1 or 2 Process Change Agent(s), hands-on person(s) that can help implement process changes the fast and sustainable way.
The Client is a (confidential) Multinational Insurance Sector Actor.
• Paris area, France.
• Tuscany, Italy.
• London, U.K. (limited trips).
The candidate(s) should expect travel to other locations (within continental Europe, to France and Italy, primarily), for the majority of the project duration.
Attractive daily dee + expenses reimbursed (base home).
Labor reimbursed net 30 days, Expenses reimbursed net 7 days.

Fluent in French and / or Italian (can, potentially, be two separate resources but, one candidate that speaks both would be ideal).
English spoken at business level.

Beginning June 24th the latest (ideally June 17th in London) for 14 to 16 weeks of work, with potential for prorogation.
Comprehensive full-time for 80 to 85 days (5 days a week) X 1 or 2 person(s).
Limited summer holiday break (nothing longer than 1 week).
