Multiple Supply-Chain Management Consultants are being hired to strengthen ongoing assignments in the USA and Canada (North America).
This search is addressed to free-lances Consultants.
Our Client is looking for Supply-Chain Management Consultants in order to strengthen their teams on multiple ongoing assignments.
Typically, YOU will help:
o Increase the overall production effectiveness
o Coordinate facilities purchases, procurements, stock values and warehouses logistics optimization
o Motivate teams, help them de-bottlenecking the nominal capacity and eliminate Mudas in order to secure the growing orders backlog and deliver OTIF
o Deal with complex problems and “shrink” cycle times
o Manage unfailing orders picking, optimal equipment and machines layout.
o Coordinate the production workflow for multiple product assembly / production / extraction lines
o Review material requirements, create and submit purchase orders to minimum order quantities as contracted with the Suppliers
o Monitor Production to ensure it meets all production targets, prepare and submit reports communicating performance to targets.
o Participate and/or lead process improvement teams.
Assignments are taking place in the industrial sector (Automotive and Mining) in a context of a global end-to-end Supply-Chain Transformation and Overall Performance Optimization.
You will work on the large-scale transformation program and will be co-responsible for the budget, governance, resources, project methodology, processes and planning implementation.
You will be responsible for the global project management right implementation, ensuring everything is completed within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost.
Other responsibilities include but, are not limited to:
• Successful relationship building and maintenance with project stakeholders, both internal and external
• Keeping the process of information streamlined to ensure timely delivery
• Analyzing the risks, as well as establishing the contingency plans and identifying trigger events and responsibilities for the initiation of mitigating actions
• Ensuring that work is fully integrated to the overall Program plans at all times
• Following the standards and processes for change management and version controlled as established by the PMO.
TECHNICAL PROFILE //
You have a solid Management Consulting experience with major Supply-Chain optimization projects.
You have a proven success tracking record, from your previous assignments and, you are recommended by your Clients / colleagues.
You have a valid work permit / visa, allowing you to work in the US and Canada (needless to apply, unfortunately, if not).
o Solid PMO / Project Management background preferably with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience.
o Knowledge of the Transportation (Automotive, Railways, Aero, etc.) and Mining industries.
o Large scale SCM implementations track record
o S&OP (sales plan, production plan, inventory plan, customer lead time (backlog) plan, new product development plan, strategic initiative plan and resulting financial plan)
o Experienced with all aspects of the system implementation including, but not limited to, Change Management and Continuous Improvement (when need “hands-on / shop floor / boots on the ground doers”)
o Managed project teams
o Addressed important business cases with high stakes.
o Experience in Supply Chain Management / Manufacturing / Process Improvement Consulting is required
o Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap / blueprint development
o Deployment & Release management experience
o Budget management experience
o Experience within a delivery program management lead role
o Strong process orientation with significant attention to details
o Deep S&OP SCP (Supply Chain Planning), and Production Planning knowledge.
o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong executive presence and ability to interact at stakeholders level
o Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
o Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required (you’ll have to “fit” with the Management Consulting Company, in charge of the contract)
o Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the teams
o Proven ability to transfer knowledge, to lead a project team and, to set the pace
o Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
o A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena
SAP knowledge of MM (Material Management); PP (Production Planning); WM (Warehouse Management); PS (Project Systems) is a plus, as well as on Primavera P6.

800€ per day + expenses reimbursed base home.
Bilingual in English, other languages such as Spanish and French are a plus.
